Farmer Highlight: Martin’s Farmstand

Let’s talk strawberries. The ones we get from Martin’s Farmstand?
They're not just fruit. They’re events.

Twice a week, Matthew rolls up with pints of the juiciest, most fragrant berries you’ve ever laid eyes on, and then...poof! Gone. If you’ve ever watched grown adults elbow their way toward a display of strawberries, you already know: this is no ordinary produce.

But the fruit is just the beginning of the story.

So, Who Are These Strawberry Sorcerers?

Martin’s Farmstand is a small family-run farm just over the river and through the woods (on 11B towards Malone to be more specific). It’s run by the hardworking duo Dan Martin and Matthew Greenwood. Visit their website

They grow a beautiful variety of produce using organic practices, even though they’re not certified organic. Translation? No sketchy sprays. Just a whole lot of love for the land and the food that grows on it.

They believe in soil health, balanced ecosystems, and harvesting at peak freshness, which aligns beautifully with what we care about here at Nature’s. Quality and community go hand in hand.

What We’re Carrying from Martin’s Right Now

In addition to those crowd-favorite strawberries, we’re also proudly stocking:

  • Fresh-cut mint
  • Horseradish
  • Spinach
  • More coming in all the time!

Everything is local, super fresh, and lovingly grown, which makes it exactly the kind of food we’re excited to put on our shelves.

Why We Love Working With Them

At Nature’s Storehouse, we’re all about good food and good people. Martin’s delivers both.

They show up reliably, grow mindfully, and support the same community we do. We love their transparency, commitment to quality, and their all-flavor approach to farming.

Come Get the Good Stuff

Next time you stop in, keep an eye out for their produce, especially the strawberries. They're only here a few hours at a time, and once you taste them, you’ll understand why people set alarms.

Supporting Martin’s means supporting a local, sustainable food system and getting some of the best produce in town.
