Rooted in community · Since 1972
Yen and Clark Maine purchased Nature’s Storehouse in 2023, carrying forward a Canton business built around natural food, wellness and community.
Rainbow and Joshua Crabtree bought the store in 2002 and grew it with a dedicated team and loyal local customers. When they were ready to pass it on, they worked with ANCA’s Center for Businesses in Transition and the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce to find successors invested in its neighborhood role.

Founded in 1972, Nature’s Storehouse is an independently owned natural foods market, café and espresso bar in the college town of Canton, New York. For more than 50 years, the store has connected neighbors with natural, organic and local goods.
